IG DOORS CONTINUES LONG STANDING RELATIONSHIP WITH LHC

IG Doors has secured its place on the latest LHC framework agreement for Entrance Doorsets and associated products (UK) across England, Scotland and Wales until 29th February 2020.

It enables the company to continue to use the LHC framework to promote its business to Social Housing clients throughout the UK, and as it enters its 35th year supplying a comprehensive range of high performance composite doors the new arrangement will also support the company as it embarks on a push for further growth.

It is ideal timing for IG Doors with its new state of the art expanded production facility due to come on line before the end of 2016, allowing it to increase capacity further to meet the needs of its clients.

Securing a place on the latest LHC framework agreement, following on from many previous years of success with LHC enables the company to offer existing and potential new clients, efficient fully OJEU compliant procurement routes.

LHC is the leading independent provider of technical product advice and procurement solutions. Its free to use procurement frameworks help Housing Association and other public bodies to make informed choices about the products and services they need for construction, refurbishment and maintenance of social housing and public buildings.

Why choose the LHC framework?
Clients looking to use the LHC framework are assured of a way of procuring which has been established in strict compliance with UK public sector procurement rules for use by public sector bodies in the UK. More information can be found on www.lhc.gov.uk

The framework in action
As well as providing compliance, quality and best value to IG Doors clients, the LHC Framework for Entrance Doorsets and Associated Products supports a streamlined process from the award of a contract to its completion.

Clients are enabled to award contracts quickly and efficiently by using the pre-tendered procurement arrangement, meaning faster turnaround of essential works underpinned by a guarantee of supplier service levels, product compliance and quality.

LHC Award weighting criteria
The LHC framework is designed to give clients surety of price and quality, whilst also taking into account other equally important criteria.

50% Pricing: Prices are tendered using a built-up matrix of analysis for doorsets in the seven most commonly specified door pattern styles, the standard design and wheelchair access design and also the FD30 rated option. Prices addressed both supply and installation.

20% Essential requirements: The range of product types offer conformity to the LHC specification, including guarantees and installation procedures, as well as third-party certification to enhanced security specifications.

10% Sustainability: Sustainable elements include geographical coverage, sustainability and social inclusion and also public sector experience.

20% Quality: Technical support and design services including assistance in the selection of products including residents’ choice and special needs and advice on solutions for compliance with statutory regulations are a standard part of the process.

Administrative and management services are assessed using responses provided in the offer document. Sample products are also assessed on their quality of construction and operation.

Speaking for IG Doors, Sales and Marketing Director Stewart Griffin stated “our success is based on our partnership approach to working with clients; delivery and service performance; and our commitment to achieving outstanding resident satisfaction”.

“This has been recognised by the LHC is their vetting process, and being a part of the LHC framework gives us the opportunity to demonstrate these qualities very readily by being able to offer clients a fully efficient OJEU complaint procurement route”.

“It is a win-win partnership, for us, the LHC and our mutual clients, and we are delighted to have secured our place once again on the latest framework to enable us to continue to work this way after many previous years of success”.
