Our Values & Sustainability
All doors designed and manufactured by IG Doors are Carbon Neutral Certified as standard, minimizing our environmental footprint and contributing to a more sustainable future.
Pioneering Sustainability
We recognise our duty to future generations and have championed sustainability for years. Our strategy revolves around calculation, reduction and compensation, aiming for a carbon-neutral footprint.
Our dedication to climate action extends further; all our doors are offered as standard CO2-neutral products. This means that every door you choose contributes to a more sustainable and eco-friendly environment.
Collaborating with ClimatePartner, we’ve proudly attained CO2-neutral certification—a testament to our unwavering commitment to sustainability.
This certification is more than a stamp; it transparently signifies our dedication to combating climate change. Through the meticulous three-step process of calculation, reduction, and compensation, we proudly present our Carbon Neutral products.
Carbon Neutral Certified As Standard
Our dedication to climate action means all our doors are offered as standard CO2-neutral products.
Whether you select a door from our Classic44, Clima63, Ignis30, or Platinum44 ranges, you can be confident that each product is certified as carbon neutral. This means that once your door is manufactured, it does not contribute additional carbon to the atmosphere. Don’t just take our word for it – IG Doors is certified by ClimatePartner, ensuring that every aspect of our supply chain and manufacturing processes has been thoroughly scrutinised and evaluated.
Calculation
Annually, we calculate our corporate carbon footprint. This assessment spans manufacturing processes and product lifecycles, guiding our sustainability strategy to pinpoint emission sources and identify improvement areas.
Reduction
We reduce our emissions wherever possible. This means we are taking various steps, big and small, to reduce our carbon footprint. We think that the reduction or direct avoidance of emissions is the most sustainable way.
Compensation
Offsetting our remaining CO2 emissions involves certified climate protection projects such as the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS). This strategic approach positions our products as inherently CO2 neutral, contributing to our sustainability commitment.
